When you run off-cycle payroll, it’s up to you whether you want to include a pay period on your team members’ pay stubs. If you want to include a pay period, you can enter the dates by editing the payroll run’s Advanced Settings.
We recommend including a pay period if you’re
- paying someone for overtime or double time that was not previously reported
- correcting an error from a previous payroll run
- paying a team member on a different pay schedule then the rest of your staff
