When you adjust a team member’s available time off, you have the option of making a normal adjustment or a correction.
When do I make a normal adjustment?
- If you want to give your team member more time off, add time by making a normal adjustment. This will add time to the employee's balance and accrued hours.
- If someone took time off but didn’t put in a time-off request, subtract time by making a normal adjustment. This will only subtract time from the employee's balance. It will also add time to their used hours.
When do I make a correction?
- If an employee requested time off but didn’t take it, add time by making a correction. This will add time back to the employee's balance. It will also subtract time from their used hours.
- If you gave a team member too much time off, subtract time by making a correction. This will subtract time from the employee's balance and accrued hours.
