You can easily add garnishments (like child support) and other post-tax and pre-tax deductions in Workful.
Click “PEOPLE” from your admin menu.
If your small business hires both employees and contractors, you can view only your employee list by clicking "EMPLOYEE."
Choose the employee you want to add a deduction to.
Click "PAY INFORMATION."
You may have to scroll down the screen before you see "Deductions." Then, click “ADD DEDUCTION.”
Click "DEDUCTION TYPES" to view which deductions and garnishments you can add in Workful.
Choose the deduction type you'd like to add.
If you would like to change the description, you can. Whatever the description says here is how it will appear on your employee's paystub.
Choose the amount type, a fixed dollar amount or percentage.
Enter the dollar amount or percentage to deduct.
Click “SAVE.”
